This is so insightful and remindful song from Taize Community.
I met this song in 1999, since I have lived in Gosari, Chung-Buk.
How gracious it is, it makes us comfortable and pious.
But I know to be like that is quiet different matter, somehow it's helpful.

The Bible is giving a great insight about
Christian relationship based on Him.
It is to be a servant, such as He was washing the disciple's feet,
taking off His outer clothing and wrapping a towel around His waist.
Weeping together, it starts from our heart, but not just in emotion but whole body.
What am I supposed to do? Guest what.......
I think I should consider others better than myself in every single moment,
even in having a hard time for them.

Celtic Cross....
켈틱 십자가는 창조영성을 고스란히 반영해 준다. 흔히 아는 바대로,
십자가가 하나님과 인간, 그리고 인간 사이를 연결시켜준다는 의미 뿐 아니라,
저 안에 서로 intertwined된 씨줄과 낱줄은 모든 피조물이 서로 연결되어 있음을 나타내 준다.
** 십자가와 원이 교차하고 있는 것, 바로 이것이 켈틱 십자가다.
십자가가 하나님과 인간, 그리고 인간 사이를 연결시켜준다는 의미 뿐 아니라,

Reservation을 "보호구역"이라 번역한 사람들은 대체 무슨 생각을 하고서 이렇게 옮긴 것일까?
누가 '보호구역'이라고 불러 준 걸 그대로 옮겨 적었나?
아니면 reservation을 다녀가 본 소회에 맞추어 그렇게 옮긴 것인가?
미국 역사에 있어서 reservation의 생성 역사는 원주민 학살의 역사와 맞물려 있고,
본래 살고 있던 땅에서 강제로 쫓아내, reservation이란 곳을 지정해 살게 했다는 상식은 대체 어찌된 것인가?
Reservation은 결코 '보호구역'이라 번역될 수 없다.
그 구역이 제정된 배경, 곧 미 정부가 원주민에게
강제로,
지정해서,
살게 한 곳, 이니
"강제 지정 거주지역"이라 해야 옳다.
* 새로 쓰는 사전,
Reservation : (미) 미국 정부가 북미에 살고 있는 원주민들을 본래 살고 있는 땅에서 쫓아내고, 인위적으로 만든 형편없는 땅을 지정하여 살게 한 곳을 의미. "강제 지정 거주지역"
